Nokia announced Symbian development outsourcing to Accenture

Nokia today announced plans to transfer of Symbian software development business to Accenture (Accenture), Accenture will provide software for Symbian system development and support services, Nokia and the 3,000 employees will join Accenture. Final agreement has yet been reached, are expected to be finalized this summer. Involved employees including China, Finland, and India and the United Kingdom and the United States some of the employees, the two companies may in the future on these employees to retrain and arrangements.

Accenture will also provide associated with the Windows Phone Platform for Nokia’s mobile software, business and operational services, Accenture will become the preferred partner of Nokia Smartphone development business, and the preferred service provider.
