ARM: not afraid of Intel 3-D transistor enough competing

Last week, Intel announced a revolutionary 3-D Tri-Gate three-gate transistor technology, “reinventing the transistor” argument is exaggerated but also amazing. In this regard, as old rival AMD also did not make any response, but recent fierce ARM momentum was speaking. ARM Executive Vice President, marketing Ian Drew said: “for us, this announcement with no accident, because we all know, the industry as a whole will understand that Intel has been working on this technology for many years. You must always focus on the competition, but we believe that the power of the ARM ecosystem and enough to compete. ”

Intel announced early on did notice a 3-D transistors, but sold the master key, did not disclose in advance any clues. When Intel raise one’s head and look at the investor to look forward, ARM shares a serious fall, until after the announcement of the Intel Riddle showing modest recoveries to recover.

Intel painstakingly studied nearly ten years to bear fruit of 3-D transistor for 22nm first technology, that is, Ivy Bridge family processors is expected to put into production by the end of this year, continue to publish early next year.
