Nvidia market share alone again fell below 60%

Market research firm Jon Peddie Research (JPR) today released the first quarter of 2011 global discrete graphics market report. Nvidia’s market share fell below 60% again, rose 59.12%;AMD to 40.46% per cent. The first quarter of this year, global discrete graphics shipments reached 19.03 million, slightly higher than the 2010 18.84 million in the fourth quarter. Among them, Nvidia fell 2% the end of last year, compared to the AMD 5.7% per cent increase over the same period last year.
